Evergreen Re Becomes Solutions Partner For Medicare Advantage Tool Kit

The Medicare Advantage Tool Kit, an interactive CD presenting a collection of solutions for Medicare Advantage plans provided by proven managed care industry leaders, now includes Evergreen Re as one of the new MA partners. The new MA Tool Kit Version 3 also includes MedAssurant, Halleland, Lewis & Johnson and The Medicare Rights Center among its new partners.

Christine Heutinck Named Senior Pharmacy Consultant, Evergreen Rx

Christine Heutinck has been named Senior Pharmacy Consultant for Evergreen Rx, the pharmacy practice of Evergreen Re. With more than six years senior management experience in the pharmacy industry, Christine is responsible for the development and servicing of pharmacy clients for the firm.

Using her extensive Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry knowledge, she will provide ongoing support to health plans and plan sponsors, helping them evaluate, analyze and implement measures to secure and maintain the most cost-effective, quality prescription drug benefit program available today.

“Christine is highly qualified to keep plan sponsors informed on changes in this increasingly complicated business, providing valuable information to identify spread pricing, compare traditional and transparent PBM models and take necessary steps to lower trend” said Ken Dowell, practice leader for Evergreen Rx. “She is also a seasoned negotiator, helping both health plans and self-insured sponsors through the PBM Request for Proposal (RFP) process – from developing the RFP to include customized pricing documents and performing data analysis to show clients potential savings to the implementation process to ensure a smooth transition.”

Formerly with Argus Health Systems as Director of Managed Care, Christine was responsible for the team in charge of developing and implementing RxFocus II – a web based reporting system, which was adopted by all the company’s clients.
